This website is dedicated to the cause of promoting Lollywood Pakistani films and cinema, for us it's not about making money in anyway shape or form. We do not make copies for anyone.

We hope to bring you remastered songs from old and new films in good quality which are not available or are very hard to find these days due to the VHS format dying out as the vast majority of these rare classic gems never made it on to the DVD format, most of the films with a good quality master print were released in the UK on VHS in the early 80's to the mid 90's' the copyright holders in the UK did not see the point in releasing these onto the DVD format due to the demand being low, as the vhs market in the UK was of a rental nature add to that fear of piracy and people making back-ups of the original releases ect, macrovision was added near the end of the format, by this time it was too late as most of the good stuff had been released and sky tv channels had  started to  show the films and even newer releases on Eid day ect.  We also have plans to add pictures and posters of old and new movies.   

The UK VHS prints that did make it on to DVD  in Pakistan were of very poor quality , the VHS were sent over from the UK often by family members some of these conversions lack colour some lack brightness  and sound ect.

As things stand now its a hardcore collectors market with some films selling for as much as £100 UK price. People have started taking advantage of the fact that these films are no longer in circulation and the companies have long gone and moved into other profitable businesses, films that people bought for as little as 50p -£1. (20 yrs ago) from video shops that were closing down and were just dying  to get rid of them, to  the owners it was  dead stock taking up valuable space, another reason for them  wanting to get rid of VHS stock was due to the DVD format gaining popularity it being digital, they just saw vhs as used rubbish which was no longer a rental "cash cow" for motion pictures.

Now YouTube and other  online streaming services have taken the place of physical formats, big companies have got involved just for the  sake of making a quick buck, once finished they will move on like they did with the  VHS rental market private collectors like myself will be picking up the pieces. 

Any Tom Dick and Harry is claiming copyrights because they know no one will challenge them as the genuine owners have moved on as explained above .
